Let's Talk

Let’s Talk is an 8-week program for students in schools across Alabama. We meet weekly with students assigned by the school administration. Activities will include language arts, art, creating solutions, and more. Students will work with a trained professional one hour out of the day for the duration of eight weeks. At the end of the program the students will graduate with a completion certificate.

The Let's Talk program is modeled to make differences in students' lives through group discussions and activities on social issues concerning their generation today. We use Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs as a teaching guide. Each week a trained professional will meet with students to discuss a tier of Maslow's Hierarchy. At the conclusion of the program students will gain a better sense of self-actualization.
